I reached out (again) yesterday to get confirmation on if I was having surgery or not since I was yet to hear from any doctor. My Pre-op NP let me know that the cardiologist still hadn’t reviewed my EKG (whaat?!) and that she saw it was normal. Within minutes I received an email stating my surgery was approved and that it is occurring at non-Kaiser facility but I am only to pay my copay there.
An hour later I got a text from the surgery center and a reminder that I am having surgery Friday (the 4th one).
